In late April 2021 Jo, Hamilton and I had a heatwave-augmented holiday to the New Forest and North Devon. The trip gave us humans a chance to take a break from our cocoon-ish office-home existence and recharge our mental batteries, and the canine got to partake in lots of novel sniffs and joyful digging. Mindfulness for all.
The trip also represented the end of an era as we have an exciting change on the horizon. Jo and I are expecting a baby in August so this was our last holiday as a trio. Hamilton has had almost three years of being our exclusive +1, with the last 12 months of that being on a 24/7 basis, so he has a big surprise in store, but we’re sure he’ll adapt well and enjoy being a big buddy to a small biped.
