My girlfriend Jo and I spent about a month discussing whether or not we should visit Rome or Paris for our annual pre-Christmas getaway; so come December, it came as little surprise that we found ourselves in the glorious surrounds of Budapest.
Sophie & Andrew
Sophie and Andrew had a gorgeous wedding up in Shropshire – between the villages of Brimfield and Woofferton. Andrew is an old schoolfriend of mine and we hadn’t seen each other for about 15 years before he asked me to be his wedding photographer! So it was a particular treat to get to catch up with him and his family.

The Album
I recently entrusted the magnificent folks at Folio Albums to be my new album producers. They mark an upgrade in quality from my previous – still VERY lovely – products. Here’s the first client product using their studio. Needless to say, I am absolutely delighted with it…
Family snaps
Some snaps from a recent family gathering. Two of my nephews and my parents.
Tour de France comes to town
The Tour de France pedalled its way into London recently. Not being one to pass up on the opportunity to see a major global sporting event up close, I made my way up the A3 from my office in Kennington to take up a position under London Bridge.
Chuckin’ the bucket’
Just found this in my archive. Top class throwing of the bouquet action.
‘Fat pad’ -tography
I recently carried out an interiors shoot of a friend’s flat in West London. They split a single property into two separate flats and made some very clever use of the space. The photos are just of the upstairs flat, which they are to rent out to tenants.

Guatemala – 35mm snaps in a digital age
After much google image searching and talking to well-travelled friends about the various pros and cons of respective Latin American countries, my girlfriend Jo and I jetted across the Atlantic to the incredible country of Guatemala in April 2014. We spent a wonderful fortnight there scaling volcanoes, drinking coffee fresh from the plantations, and relaxing by lakes.
Unearthed RAW format in my cameraphone!
I’ll keep this brief as it’s relatively techy. Nokia have apparently seen fit to unlock RAW image capture in their 1020 🙂 Gives SO much more potential for post-production, particularly in recovering highlights and shadows. Please excuse the rather dry subject matter of these samples – really astonishing dynamic range for a phone!
Letter of thanks
Lovely letter from a father-of-the-bride 🙂
