I love how photographs can mature over time. I’ve been looking back through some old photos that I took on a trip to Paris in 2007 (I had lofty ideas of it being a pilgrimage to follow in the footsteps of Cartier-Bresson) and it’s striking how my style has changed over time.
America is a place that British people are instantly familiar with, through their shared language, mutual audio-visual tastes, a familiar news narrative, and the presence of many of the same brands.
