Kat and Jamie
In December ‘11 I was commissioned as a “second shooter” for a very gorgeous wedding at Patshull Hall in Albrighton, Shropshire. Second shooting is usually where the photographer pays particular attention to getting those lovely candid moments whilst the main photographer concentrates on the formal images, however on this occasion the main photographer was a good friend of the bride and groom and wanted to play the role of guests from the meal onwards. So in this instance it was almost a baton-passing experience with me photographing the meal, speeches, cake cutting and first dance.
I had a really lovely time – Kat and Jamie were lovely, the main photographer was great to work with and the venue looked stunning – it was quite surreal having a massive Christmas tree in the corner of a reception hall!
